The ISO certification system has been world famous for a long time, it is also called as a synonym for high quality assurance. ISO is an international organization that develops standards that ensure that products and services are safe, reliable and of high quality. Manufacturing processes are based on the most efficient use of resources with the least impact on the environment. We at Wonder are aware of the responsibility that lies on our shoulders. Since the issue of providing humanity with food is quite acute now.
Why are ISO standards important to consumers?
Firstly, having a valid ISO certificate gives company confidence in the products safety purchased by the consumer. These generally accepted norms define the production characteristics and standards by which goods and services must be manufactured. Thanks to standardization, the consumer can be sure of proper quality of products and services.
Secondly, not only products manufacturers and service providers, but also consumer organizations from different countries take part in the development of standards. This means that the products and services of certified companies fully meet all consumers requirements. All ISO standards have their own marking which indicates the scope of application. The numbers before the colon in the name of the standard indicate what the specific standard refers to (quality, ecology, etc.), and the numbers after it indicate the approval year of the standard.
In turn, there are more than 15,000 international standards. This factor contributes to the compatibility of the process of technology and production. ISO standards help to assess the quality of production, as well as the quality and adequacy of management in each industry separately. This contributes to the development of production specialization, complex mechanization and automation. The adequacy and effectiveness of existing standards and need for new standards are observed with market help. Progress in production, the development of business and consumer segments, and the growth of economic factors depend on ISO standards.
In many countries, ISO standards are associated with state bodies for quality regulation and economic market development. They are called national standards DSTU ISO, which have taken over the functions of international ISO standards. All data, such as the approval year and the number of standard, are the same for DSTU and ISO. The certificate of an international audit company (an accredited certification body) states that the holder of this certificate has been trained, passed an exam and got modern skills in developing, implementing and managing projects in the company.
Wonder LLC has two approved ISO certifications, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.
ISO 9001:2015
The ISO 9001:2015 certificate (DSTU ISO 9001:2015) confirms that the company’s quality management system meets the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001. Responsible for quality control at critical points in products production or services provision. Such moments usually include the following stages: raw materials acceptance, shipment of finished products to the warehouse, quality control, safety on production, the procedure for providing services. Ukraine has a version of DSTU ISO 9001:2015, which is an identical example of the international standard ISO 9001:2015 (identity level – IDT). This standard is based on a number of quality management principles such as strong customer focus, management motivation and involvement, process approach and continual improvement. Applying ISO 9001 helps ensure that customers consistently receive quality products and services, which in turn is highly beneficial for business.
ISO 14001:2015
The ISO 14001:2015 certificate (DSTU ISO 14001:2015) confirms that the company fulfills the whole range of requirements related to environmental management in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 14001. This document looks at the ongoing changes in the environmental conditions and raises questions about the importance of maintaining balance with socio-economic interests. Ukraine has a version of DSTU ISO 14001:2015, which is an identical translation of the international standard ISO 14001:2015 (identity level – IDT). It is not a secret that activities of most companies have detrimental effect on the environment. As a result, the planet suffers from toxic waste, harmful chemical emissions, water pollution. Plants and animals disappear, and people are attacked by new diseases and viruses. That is why it is essential for companies to control their impact on the environment. For this purpose, the standard ISO 14001 “Environmental Management Systems. Application requirements” was implemented, the main purpose of which is to minimize the harmful effects of the enterprise’s production activities on the environment. The development of environmental management systems is an important stage in the development of any enterprise, and obtaining an ISO 14001 certificate is confirmation of compliance with the requirements of the standard at the international level.
